Seven years of college down the drain…Until now! In 2011 four Austin friends decided to put their former degenerate years to good use and open a bar we would be proud to share. Javelina takes its cues from our favorite places in Texas: neighborhood ice houses, hill country beer joints and historic dance halls. We added some family recipes and ranch weekend ingenuity to our food and drink menu to round out a good time. If you had to throw a label at it we’d call it Hill Country Soul. Hard to define but come check us out and see if you like it.

- Do you host parties or events?
Yes. We have ample space and seating both indoors and out to suit a wide variety of parties. Please contact our general manager Carl at 512-382-6917 or email JavelinaBar@gmail.com. Please give us 24 hours to respond and we can begin to work out the details to suit the requirements.
- Are dogs allowed at Javelina?
Of course. Outside on the patio and on a leash.
- When do you serve food?
The kitchen is open Monday through Friday 4pm-1:30am. On Saturday and Sunday noon-1:30am. We also serve breakfast tacos and breakfast sandwiches on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm - 6pm in addition to the regular menu.
